For some time now I have been tinkering around with different things with the site, namely the Video Clips section (including the actual clips) and the Columns Section. Video Clips Well, it only took me forever and a day to give up with the previous set up and go buy myself a new video program at Best Buy. I ended up getting Movie Edit Pro 12 for my PC. Now, I wasn't sure exactly what to get as I had a top of the line program in Final Cut Pro on my Macintosh. I looked at most of the programs at Best Buy thinking they might be novice and lacking in some features I might want later. After using the program for a couple of days, I have been satisfied with the purchase. Well it is August and this summer seems like it just started yesterday. Where did the time go? Seems like I haven't done much of anything this summer, but yet it is creeping ever so close to being over. I arrived at these sediments a few weeks ago when I began booking as many models as I can into July for some much needed new content. Not that I didn't have plenty of content already shot, I just didn't want to let the summer pass with getting a bunch more. Only July 12, 2007 the last of the wallpaper designs were submitted for the first ever Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest and I sent off the designs to be reviewed and judged by two of the site's sole mates. Those sole mates were none other than Abby and  Kellie . I had a handful of participants for this brand new contest and almost every one of them entered several designs each. Although only each person was only eligible for one prize, those people showed off their skills and passion for the three models they could chose from to design wallpapers with - Chloe , Layla , and Precious . I am sure each of those girls will be happy as ever to see themselves as the subject matter for their designs. The first ever Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest just got underway last week and already there has been a number of entries. I was shocked to see them come in so early as the deadline is Thursday, July 12. But it seems like people were eager to get their design skills showcased for a chance to win some membership time to the site. But one thing I want to stress to all of you current members is that this contest is ALSO for you. I had contacted BHE prior to running this and asked them if people with current memberships could either have free months placed into their re-occuring memberships, or for those one-time memberships, have them extended. It has been some time since I held a contest on the site and with two recent fan wallpaper submissions to the site, I have decided to start holding regular design contests. Here is the basics of what I am doing. About every four to five weeks I will post a link to a folder on the site that will have three sub folders within it, each belonging to a different model. Each model's folder will have numerous photos inside along with basic information on her. Also in the master folder will be the site's logo and some basic information on the site. Each contest will have a certain time frame in which to create your designs of a wallpaper of a single model from that contest's folders. I've been on many computers that were full of more spyware than personal files. A little over a year ago, when I was still using my Mac (I loathed PC and swore I'd never have one), I just couldn't figure out how that much spyware could find its way onto someone's PC. Well, I got attacked by the spyware asshats on Tuesday, and man, I was so pissed I almost burned off the site folder and wiped the system. Over the last five weeks Soles of Silk has debuted five new models. Those models, in order of appearance are: Natalie , Krystie ,  Danielle , Delicious , and Ann . It was the longest addition of brand new models since the site debuted, but that streak isn't what this column is about. The addition of those five models listed above has put the grand total of models on this site to 40. Every single model has been a pleasure to shoot. Whether it be someone like Madison , who I've photographed so many times that I'm still sitting on photos I did of her last year, or someone like Ann, who has been on the site all of a few hours, every shoot is one I treasure. I've said many times in the past, many of these girls are friends of mine, but those I didn't know before I did

I will be the first one to tell you that I am happy to see members and even non-members writing to me about what they like about Soles of Silk and what they want to see on the site. But then there are those e-mails that are just so far out there that they get annoying. One of those overly annoying things has been happening a LOT since I created a MySpace page for the site. That one annoying thing is the guys who write to me that they want to suck my toes and do all these other kinky things to me. Up until now I have always responded with a pleasant, "Sorry, you've mailed the Web master, not model-x, but I am glad you enjoyed model-x." But seriously, after getting about seven of those kinds of messages in one day on MySpace last week I got a little pissed and wrote a bulletin about the situation. This week marks the arrival of a new sole mate named Natalie . I met Natalie at a friend's Super Bowl party not too long ago. If you read her mini-profile on her model page, then you'll know that she is also Bethany's cousin. When Bethany introduced me to Natalie we made some small talk and the conversation led to the site and Bethany's pictures. I ended up asking Natalie if she'd like to pose, and although I did not get an answer immediately, I was in contact with her shortly thereafter and made plans to do a photo shoot with her for the site. Natalie was not the only girl I met at the party who is supposed to be modeling for the site, however. A girl who I was introduced to, who is the younger sister of two guys I knew growing up, approached me and said hello.
