More Photos of Lisa Tyler

Image
Lisa Tyler is someone I am so glad I met and had the chance to shoot. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Before I had even posted Soles of Silk online I had to get a bunch of photos in the books to begin the site with. I had photographed a handful of models and one of those was Lisa Tyler . Lisa used to run the site Forever Feet and I admired her and her feet when I saw a feature model set she did on Wu's Feet Links . I contacted her and found that she was willing to model for Soles of Silk, even though I had nothing to show for the site online at the time. Now as most of you know, Soles of Silk combines the girl next door who has never modeled in her life, with the girl who models for a living, with those who even run their own foot fetish sites. But at the time I had very little experience working with someone who was used to doing modeling as a job. I was intimidated to say t

The Return of Andrea

Image
I always loved how flexible Andrea's toes were, and just how wrinkled those soles got. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. As many of you know, years ago I had another foot photo web site called The 10 Little Piggies. I had more than 40 models on the site and also displayed my artwork on the female foot. One of those 40 models is making her Soles of Silk debut this week. That model is Andrea . Andrea and I grew up as next door neighbors. We used to play He-Man/She-Ra way back in our youth. As we grew up we still hung out here and there, but we did grow apart slightly. When I was in college and running The 10 Little Piggies, I was always asking my classmates and friends to pose for me. I had always wanted to ask Andrea, but wasn't sure how she would react. On one summer afternoon she was outside washing her father's truck, I believe, and I went for broke. I was a little ne

Carmen Comes Back?

Image
Carmen will be back doing new sets soon. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Maybe you saw some of my forum posts on the site forum lately or talked to me on instant messenger. But for those of you who haven't done either, there is some recent news that is sure to make a lot of people happy. The news is: Carmen has come home! Carmen moved months ago and I was not able to meet with her before she left to get in some photo shoots. I have had a ton of e-mails asking if Carmen was still modeling for the site and I had to explain the situation. People were a little bummed to say the least because Carmen has been one of the most popular models since she debuted on the site. And when she was the feature on Wu's Feet Links her popularity went through the roof! To date I've exchanged a number of e-mails with Carmen about some ideas I have for some sets I want to do with her. I a

Warm Weather Cram

I'm so happy to have Sara Swirls back on the site this week. It's been too long! The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. It seems like the weather lately can't make up its mind on whether it wants to be cold or warm. Some days I've walked out in a jacket and then I go and get a little bit of a sun burn on my neck at the beach yesterday. Crazy stuff. But one thing is inevitable, the weather is going to get cold here in Maryland before long and that means I lose a lot of photo opportunities outdoors. So right now I am cramming in as many models, new and existing, before the winter sets in. This week marks a return of Sara Swirls , who hasn't had a gallery update in some time. I was able to meet with her recently and get a few sets in. It was great to have her back and those size 8's are still as tender as ever! Next week is the debut of Andrea , my former next door ne

Layla - Footography

Image
Layla's debut set was an instant hit with both fans and members. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Back in June I did an All- Madison featured update. This month I have decided to do the same with another regular model here on Soles of Silk. That model is Layla . Layla quickly became a hit on this site when I posted her first set on the site, which was her Fells Point Tugboat Set. Her dirty feet being bared in a public place drove people insane and people demanded more of her. I had shot three sets that day, but with her demand and my enjoyment in shooting her caused me to meet up with her several more times to get more sets in, each time getting some awesome shots. With all of her great shoots, it was getting hard to pick which ones to post first having so many in waiting and having to stick them in between updates with new and other models. Here is a look at Layla's Footog

Indian on the Path

Wendy and I had someone observing our shoots for most of the afternoon. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. This week had one of the strangest things that has ever happened to me while I was out doing a photo shoot for Soles of Silk. I was meeting up with Wendy this past Sunday to take some more photos and her boyfriend had suggested a local park for a possible location for its nice scenery. Wendy and I took the advice and headed out to the park. Once we parked we began walking a trail back to a small waterfall that she though would be perfect for her first set. Well, on the way back to the waterfall I look up and see a wooden spear with colorful feathers and what looked to be a squirrel's tail attached to it. Then I noticed the person holding it. A white male with a feathered headband, rawhide vest, blue jeans and tennis shoes was standing there as if he were almost monitoring

Bethany at the Beach

Image
My two day trip started with doing several photo shoots of Molly and her size 11 feet. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. As you read last week, this week I went to the beach for several days and got to spend time and do photographs with the ever-so-popular Molly . We had an awesome place to shoot and we also ran out onto the beach for a few shoots as well. You'll be seeing some of those photos soon. But I had an unexpected bonus to the two day photo trip. Molly had mentioned shooting a friend of her's named Bethany .  "Bethany is shy," Molly told me beforehand so I didn't know if that meant she probably wouldn't do it. Well, the first night Molly had called and asked Bethany to come over and hang out with us in the hot tub. Bethany took her up on the offer and when she came by, I prayed Bethany would agree to pose for the site someday. Little would I kn

Size Matters... And Not Shoe Size

Image
Next week we not only welcome Bethany to the site, but a new, larger photo size. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Up until now the images you have seen on Soles of Silk have been set at an 800 x 600 pixels resolution. Having a 19 inch monitor, the vertical photos fill the screen exactly. The horizontal ones, although the same size, leave a lot of the monitor's width empty. I have only had one person thus far express unhappiness with the resolution, but as of next week I am going to increase the photo resolution of the site's photos to 1024 x 768. The new file size will begin with the site's newest sole mate, Bethany . Bethany is this week's (Aug. 16, 2006) coming soon preview. Not a bad way to bring in the change. The coming soon previews are actually set to the size you will be seeing as of next week, so be sure to take a look. Join   Soles of Silk  today to see

Personal Life Calls

Image
Precious was featured in this week's update. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. I wanted to take a quick time out and tell you that I might need some extra time to respond to e-mails, the forum and things pertaining to the site for the rest of the week and maybe into next week. Some family issues have come up and a member of my family has had to spend some time in the hospital the last few days. Things look like they will be okay, but helping this person after they are released from the hospital might also require some time. I ask you all to please understand that I am not ignoring any of your e-mails, posts, instant messages, etc. and I hope to be back to the norm very soon. Sometimes life calls and you have to juggle things. The site update has gone up on time, but I did have to cram it in last minute. Still, I think you'll enjoy those lovely soles of Precious and I placed
