A Thoughtful Christmas Gift

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Kimmie and Kellie made a card featuring this photo of their feet for Christmas. I've said time and time again that anyone who knows me knows that I have a foot fetish. To some, it is interesting, to some it is funny. I've had my share of people cracking jokes on me, but I've also had my share of female friends sticking their feet in my lap for a nice massage when we hang out. This Christmas was just another example of me wearing my fetish without shame. I had a thoughtful present that was part funny and part flirty. Many workplaces do a secret Santa exchange where you don't know who is getting your gift and the person you selected doesn't know they're getting something from you. Well, this year one of the girls drew my name. This girl does not appear on this site - she's actually not old enough to do so. Apparently she

Merry Christmas Members

The first of two Christmas themed sets this week, featuring Chloe and Kimmie. This Sunday is the big day and I've done barely any shopping. The next couple of days is going to be filled with mad rushes back and forth to store, only to break for the long line at every store. Why did I wait until the last minute? This week's update has two large Christmas themed sets and also features the first full length video clip for the site. I am not done remodeling the site and inserting those new sections yet, but I wanted to make sure you had the Christmas video this week being it is from Chloe's and Kimmie's shoot. I wasn't able to shoot a clip of Mindee from her set, however. I hope everyone has a great holiday and I thank all of you for sharing yours with the sole mates and myself. I'll see all of you again next week for the

Site Changes Upcoming

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Here we are a few weeks before the holidays and I am sure everyone has been busy decorating, shopping, working, etc. So has yours truly. You've had a few weeks of seeing the preview clip on the site's main page and I am sure some of you are wondering if Patrick forgot about the clips. I want to assure you that I have not forgotten the clips. I've been working here and there on my computer to revamp the site to make a section for the clips as well as a few other sections I am thinking you will enjoy. I will probably launch the new sections early so you can enjoy those clips and have the other two additional sections be a work in progress. Now I can see why many site hire additional help. Doing all this by myself sure isn't easy when you have life outside of the site to tend to as well. But one thing I've stuck to is not using other peop

PC = Piece (of) Crap

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Well, well... I did the site's first update from my PC. I've had it for a number of weeks though, but with all the files still on my Macintosh and my familiarity with the Mac, I decided to keep working from the Mac instead. This week, however, I forced myself to change. I had to download some programs to get all my USB accessories to be recognized by the computer and don't even talk about the issues of a PC reading Mac files (Macs read the PC files, don't you think it would go the other way too?). But after several hours of set up, I got to the point to go ahead with the update and things did not go as bad as I had thought they would. There were some font issues going from one platform to the other, but unless you really get into reading the model's name and site copyright on each photo, you probably won't notice the change from Fu

A Bug's Life?

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. It's been a few weeks since I left a post in my column area, but I've had a couple of e-mails lately asking a question that I want to address to everyone here. I am not sure if members or non-members have been the ones sending the e-mails, but I am guessing non-members. Anyhow, the issue is crushing, the crushing of bugs to be exact. This past month I've had quite a few people asking me if any or if a particular model would crush a bug in a custom video. First and foremost, Soles of Silk is not at the point yet of doing custom videos, so that right there has the issue null and void. But when the site does make it to that point, the models WILL NOT be crushing any living creatures. I am not bashing those of you who find this aspect of the fetish to be interesting or a turn on. I have been told before that any kind of content or product that wo

Getting Serious About Crazy Egg

Image
The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. This last week has been a little nuts. I got my Windows PC finally, although I am still doing updates from a Mac, but when I set things up the PC knocked out mywWeb and network settings. It took me a couple of days to get back online and I am still trying to catch up on e-mails and column posts. But when I looked through my e-mails I had one from a long time member named Tim. You might have seen the link to his site here. He ran the site Crazy Egg's Female Foot Fetish. Tim informed me he is heading to Iraq to serve the United States. He also told me he has to let his site go for obvious reasons. I let Tim be the first site to feature the twins as contributions. I can remember the first few conversations Tim and I had over Yahoo! Instant Messenger. He was in his beginning stages of getting his site together and asked for some contributions fr

Random Thoughts - October

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. It's been October for a few days now and the days are getting shorter and the weather just a tad bit colder. Both have already screwed up some shoots and/or potential shoots over the last couple of weeks, but there is nothing to worry about, I still have plenty of things that are on the positive side to share with you. Lauryn will be returning to the site soon. Lauryn Returns It's been months since I have been able to shoot Lauryn for Soles of Silk. It was a good thing I had plenty of material of her to last, but we're scheduled to shoot some more this coming weekend. I can't wait and neither can she. She has already reminded me that we (Lauryn, Madison , and myself) never got around to shooting the cookie dough set that everyone voted upon in the beginning of the year. I can assure you, both Lauryn and Madison are excited to get

Upcoming Video Content

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Some of you might remember the teaser I ran a couple of months ago announcing that in the upcoming months the site would be adding video clips to compliment the photo content. But as I am sitting here with a book beside me learning the video editing software, I want to ask everyone their opinions. Below are a list of questions/ideas I have and I want our input on what to do with these videos. First of all, let me first share that I currently work on an Apple Macintosh and have already began learning a program that will allow me to make my video clips look nice with intros and copyright information. But this week I should also be getting a Windows PC that I had built with some amazing specs. I'll probably end up getting video software for that platform too. But in all honesty, I've stuck to Apples all my life being in the graphic design field, so t

Time Out for Katrina

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. I wanted to take a few minutes of your time this week to step outside the usual columns for this site and talk about the events going on in the Gulf States with Hurricane Katrina. Its been over a week since Katrina devastated the south. New Orleans has been in turmoil ever since. Many people have died and even more have lost their homes. Families have been split apart and relocated in various states. It's just a mess. Seeing all the images on TV and in the newspapers I decided to place the banners to the American Red Cross on the site's home pages and below. I encourage everyone who can spare even a little bit to do so. I have been talking to people where I work about getting together some things as well. I think everyone has old clothes or items that could be useful to those down south. Check out the Red Cross' site and see what they recomme

Hot Spots to See Barefoot Women

Image
The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Living in Maryland, a state that can be scorching hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter, trying to catch a glimpse of some pretty feet out in public can sometimes be a seasonal thing. But in my years, I've found that several places offer better views of pretty girls going barefoot, or at least in some skimpy sandals. And I'm not talking about just seeing a girl in some mules walking down the street, I'm talking about good views where you can see some dangling or extended views of soles and such. Here are the top five hot spots I've found in sequential order: 5. Mall - Okay, this one was obvious. So many cute girls looking for the latest fashions will spend hours walking around the mall in flip flops, sandals, and even on a few rare occasions, I've seen them holding their shoes and going barefoot. Even rarer, you'll so
