Mindee easily claimed the lead after the Suite Feet series of shoots. Back in May I wrote a blog titled, " Leah in the Lead... So Far ." At the time, newcomer, Leah , was my most photographed model of the year with six sets. As a matter of fact, the top three spots were taken by newcomers. Melani had five sets and occupied the second spot. Alexa was in third with three sets. It wasn't until fourth place and beyond that any models who debuted prior to 2017 were found. This was the list back in May 2017: Leah  - 6 sets Melani  - 5 sets Alexa  - 3 sets  Jasey Rae  - 2 sets Alice   - 2 sets Felicia   - 1 set Mindee   - 1 set Well, that was May. Here in September, as I'm slowing down with shooting, the list looks quite a bit different. Lately I feel like I've had some bad luck with things not working out concerning shoots. Whether it is a model who cancels, runs late, a location not working out, or some other unforeseeable issue, it feels like I've run into these sort of things quite a bit over the last few months. Luckily for me, today's shoot with Jasey Rae still resulted in a really great set. Sure, we planned on three, but I decided not to force the issue and just do the one and be happy with it. We're planning on getting together soon, however, maybe even a couple of times. The original plan for today called for Alice to meet up with Jasey and I. Alice was going to shoot this year's Ravens themed set, since things fell through with the original model, Melani , two weeks ago. A few days ago, however, Alice informed me that she too was unable to shoot the set due to some holiday plans, so Jasey Rae and I were left with the day to ourselves. It's been about a month since I last shot any new content. To be honest, I haven't been focused on scheduling new shoots. Instead I've been trying to enjoy life a little bit by hitting up some amusement parks and spending time with some friends. Life has been pretty busy this year, with some awesome things happening, and some not so great things. I have, however, managed to shoot a ton of content up until this point and am currently sitting on over 90 sets, featuring 20 different models. Because of that, it has made my decision to not focus on shooting these last few weeks all the much easier. Had Alexa not hit me up for photos, today would just have been another day to relax and/or focus on some other things needing to be done. But Alexa did ask me to shoot, and I'm glad she did.
