A Bug's Life?

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. It's been a few weeks since I left a post in my column area, but I've had a couple of e-mails lately asking a question that I want to address to everyone here. I am not sure if members or non-members have been the ones sending the e-mails, but I am guessing non-members. Anyhow, the issue is crushing, the crushing of bugs to be exact. This past month I've had quite a few people asking me if any or if a particular model would crush a bug in a custom video. First and foremost, Soles of Silk is not at the point yet of doing custom videos, so that right there has the issue null and void. But when the site does make it to that point, the models WILL NOT be crushing any living creatures. I am not bashing those of you who find this aspect of the fetish to be interesting or a turn on. I have been told before that any kind of content or product that wo

Getting Serious About Crazy Egg

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. This last week has been a little nuts. I got my Windows PC finally, although I am still doing updates from a Mac, but when I set things up the PC knocked out mywWeb and network settings. It took me a couple of days to get back online and I am still trying to catch up on e-mails and column posts. But when I looked through my e-mails I had one from a long time member named Tim. You might have seen the link to his site here. He ran the site Crazy Egg's Female Foot Fetish. Tim informed me he is heading to Iraq to serve the United States. He also told me he has to let his site go for obvious reasons. I let Tim be the first site to feature the twins as contributions. I can remember the first few conversations Tim and I had over Yahoo! Instant Messenger. He was in his beginning stages of getting his site together and asked for some contributions fr

Random Thoughts - October

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. It's been October for a few days now and the days are getting shorter and the weather just a tad bit colder. Both have already screwed up some shoots and/or potential shoots over the last couple of weeks, but there is nothing to worry about, I still have plenty of things that are on the positive side to share with you. Lauryn will be returning to the site soon. Lauryn Returns It's been months since I have been able to shoot Lauryn for Soles of Silk. It was a good thing I had plenty of material of her to last, but we're scheduled to shoot some more this coming weekend. I can't wait and neither can she. She has already reminded me that we (Lauryn, Madison , and myself) never got around to shooting the cookie dough set that everyone voted upon in the beginning of the year. I can assure you, both Lauryn and Madison are excited to get

Upcoming Video Content

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Some of you might remember the teaser I ran a couple of months ago announcing that in the upcoming months the site would be adding video clips to compliment the photo content. But as I am sitting here with a book beside me learning the video editing software, I want to ask everyone their opinions. Below are a list of questions/ideas I have and I want our input on what to do with these videos. First of all, let me first share that I currently work on an Apple Macintosh and have already began learning a program that will allow me to make my video clips look nice with intros and copyright information. But this week I should also be getting a Windows PC that I had built with some amazing specs. I'll probably end up getting video software for that platform too. But in all honesty, I've stuck to Apples all my life being in the graphic design field, so t

Time Out for Katrina

The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. I wanted to take a few minutes of your time this week to step outside the usual columns for this site and talk about the events going on in the Gulf States with Hurricane Katrina. Its been over a week since Katrina devastated the south. New Orleans has been in turmoil ever since. Many people have died and even more have lost their homes. Families have been split apart and relocated in various states. It's just a mess. Seeing all the images on TV and in the newspapers I decided to place the banners to the American Red Cross on the site's home pages and below. I encourage everyone who can spare even a little bit to do so. I have been talking to people where I work about getting together some things as well. I think everyone has old clothes or items that could be useful to those down south. Check out the Red Cross' site and see what they recomme
